Start and stop tracking

  1. Open Working time in OFAC.
  2. Start tracking when you begin work.
  3. Select Pause when you take a break, then Resume when you return.
  4. Select Stop and confirm when you have finished.

Only one session can run at a time. Use the history to check its current status and the time recorded.

Correct a day's record

Select the relevant day in your history. You can enter either a total duration or a start and finish time. Check the hours, minutes, break and the suggested break mode. Add a note if needed, then save only after you have checked the summary.

Planned time, tracked time and corrections

A calendar entry represents a plan. Tracked time takes precedence over planned shift hours. A manual correction, in turn, takes precedence within the period it covers. These figures are therefore alternatives, not three separate totals to be added together.

A forecast that includes future shifts is not a record of work already completed.

Breaks, night shifts and reports

Break deductions depend on your working-time model, the entry and any correction settings. Take particular care with shifts that cross midnight. Night, weekend and public-holiday hours can overlap and should not be added together without checking how they were calculated.
